"I called for an estimate on a complete timing belt job on a gold wing young lady tells me she has to tear it down to give me a price. Are you kidding me I want a price on the tensioner and belt and any other corresponding parts that it needs. I’m sorry I don’t do it that way she says. You’re either lazy Or don’t know your job. I myself have been a service manager for 20 years. You lost a very good paying job and potential customers. I can see why your ratings are 3.2. This is also how the shop gets you in the door quote the cheapest price possible on just a belt and then add everything else once they get in there I never ran my shop that way. Bait and switch. Be honest and quote the complete job. Seals, gaskets, bets, components, tensioner etc. I wanted it ALL done!!! All well. Next"
