GATE Gas Station

"Your employees are trash. There are more concerned with picking up men that are in the line and talking on their phones then actually helping people that are standing in line."

"Gate gas station has gone down so much recently. Every single time I've gone to a gate gas station. There's been an issue. I can never seem to get a receipt from the machine anytime that I go to the one in Riverside or Brooklyn rather and twice. Since then I've gone to a gate gas station and the pump doesn't work. No signs saying that it doesn't work. Nothing out there for anyone to notice. In any case that would give information that it doesn't work. Today I'm at the one on south side the deerwood Park and when it wouldn't work I tried to get the assistance of the button and nobody answered me. So I went to another pump because I needed to get gas and tried to push the button to see if maybe someone could talk to me on that one. And again no answer. I have my child in the car. I can't just walk inside. The gate really needs to step it up some. Just getting out of hand. If anything at least answer and just say that you can't have somebody come out and just acknowledge the situation. Two people were just standing there looking at me from the cash register and there was no one at the cash register that they were helping."

"Update: I’ve been back 3 times since my review. Soda machines still broken. I’ve spoken to an employee every time. Will continue to update. Fix your soda machines. Every time I mention that 50% of your soda fountain dispensers aren’t operational I just get an eye roll from whoever is behind the counter. It’s as bad as McDonald’s and their ice cream machines being down. Soda has been around for 300+ years guys, this isn’t rocket science. Edit: Six months later the same exact problem exists lmao. How can it be this hard?"

"So that the females that work here does not talk to you at all unless you are a male. I got myself a pizza and water before I started my work shift as Security . The girl did not speak to me when I approach her. She did not tell me the price of my purchases or so have a nice day. These people are really unprofessional and do not have any customer service skills at all. This is my first time coming in here and getting this experience in the door. I know that they were in the wrong because I used to work for Gate. I’ve been in customer service business for about 15+ years now."

"Employees are extremely rude!! I live near this gas station and my husband and I go there at least four times a week, meaning the employees know us. This one lady refused to sell my husband tobacco because his license was expired so I went in to purchase it. She accused him of trying to make a “third party sale” even though I showed her my valid ID which says I am 23. Never giving them by business again ."
