"We’ve been clients of Hot2cold since May of 2019. They installed a brand new A/C system in our home. In all of our years of dealing with Hot2cold, we’ve never had a technician as knowledgeable and thorough as Troy Anderson. He took care of all our issues and was the most personable guy, restored our faith in dealing with the company. We plan to be requesting him for all future service requests and honestly wouldn’t want to deal with anyone else. Thanks again"

"Unfortunately my husband and I had a poor experience with Hot 2 Cold. I do believe this was probably just a one off mistake so I don't want to ruin their hard earned reputation, but I do want to share my experience. We had two of their Techs come out to our home on Tuesday. The customer rep who booked the appointment with us that sunday prior was very kind and helpful through the process. We received many notifications for our upcoming appointment as well so we could stay informed. Tuesday the techs came out at the scheduled time but were unable to run proper diagnostics due to lack of equipment and incompatable weather conditions, so we rescheduled with the techs for Thursday at approximately 12 pm. Today is Thursday and we received no call for our appointment. At 12:40 pm my husband reached out to their office to see when we would be expecting the techs to arrive. The customer rep asked if they could call us back with further information regarding our appointment. We did not receive a call back, so at 2:47 pm I called the office to receive the update myself and was told that there was no appointment and that their techs were completely booked up for the day and that the earliest they could come out would be 12 pm next day. I would like to note that this was not the same representative we originally booked the first appointment with. They did not seem to care too much about this mishap and didn't entertain the inconvenience this caused us whatsoever. The mishap itself is of course frustrating, but it was the lack of call-back, customer care and taking responsibility for the error that helped us decide to go with a different company."

"In January of the previous year, I engaged the services of Hot 2 Cold Airconditioning due to issues with my A/C unit. They diagnosed it with a coolant leak and charged me for refilling it, yet they were unable to locate the leak. Subsequently, the unit failed again, and their recommendation was a complete replacement. I invested thousands in a new unit, during the installation of which they damaged my air filter holder. They did rectify this, but not before an initial attempt to charge me for the repair. Fast forward to 20 months later, the new A/C unit, which should have been in optimal condition, started experiencing issues. Hot 2 Cold was called in again, and they found a significant amount of coolant missing. The technician refilled it and expressed uncertainty about the location or even the existence of a leak. I was charged $375 for this service. As if on cue, the unit completely broke down over the weekend, leaving us without any cold air. Hot 2 Cold was called in again, and this time, they were able to find and fix the leak within minutes using some solder. The speed and ease with which the leak was located and fixed during this visit starkly contrasted with the initial visit, raising questions about the quality of the first service. Despite their initial oversight, they charged me an additional $500 for the weekend service call, the repair, and additional coolant. This brought the total to an exorbitant $875 spent on a brand new A/C unit that they themselves installed. The fact that a simple soldering technique, which any qualified technician should be able to perform, was not done during the initial visit suggests at best, a lack of thoroughness, and at worst, a deliberate oversight to justify additional charges. Moreover, the decision to charge me for a second coolant refill, after the first refill proved ineffective due to their own inability to locate the leak, is highly questionable. Any reputable company would acknowledge their initial oversight and waive the charge for the second refill, charging only for the soldering repair. I am left feeling exploited and scammed. I would willingly pay twice as much to avoid dealing with such unscrupulous practices. The experience with Hot 2 Cold Airconditioning has been far from satisfactory, and I feel that I've been taken advantage of financially. I would advise potential customers to consider other service providers who demonstrate a higher level of professionalism and integrity."
