"Based on other reviews, it seemed that a number of issues took place due to online booking so I took the effort to make my reservation over the phone. I got confirmation of my book that stated I would be charged two equal payments of $676.74. Well, the day of my second payment I was charged $919.52 - $242.78 more than my booking confirmation. When I notified the company, they said they forgot to add a $200 cleaning fee on to my original booking which, in my opinion, is not my problem. Also, this ‘reason’ does not explain why they increased the cost of my travel insurance. I would not recommend using a company that charges your credit card whatever they want and reruns invoices at their own discretion. Secondly, when we got to the property, the smoke alarm had a low battery and was beeping incessantly. When I texted the number I was given, their response was to look around the house for a new battery and a ladder and change the battery myself. If a company is going to charge me $200 for a cleaning fee and then take on the liability of their guest climbing a ladar and replacing a battery, I think maybe they have their priorities backwards. The property had tape marking different items that needed to stay, go, or be switched out – things like lamp shades and rugs. There were two large amazon boxes on the deck that had not been disposed of and price tags on furniture. Lastly, I received a text in the middle of the week to take the garbage to the curb. There was nothing in the garbage can and we had a half a bag of trash but the employee was insistent that we put the half bag in the garbage despite the fact that we would have a bag in the garbage can when we left on that Friday anyways. I really wanted to like the property but this property manager raises so many red flags. I would not recommend using them."

"One of the most stressful things about moving far away from home is trying to find a new home. Gretchen was the most incredible host I could’ve asked for and made sure this process was as smooth and stress free as possible while I found a long term rental. She was always very friendly, responsive, and welcoming, which really made my transition to Jacksonville so much easier. The rental was very clean and well kept. Even when a shelf broke during my first day, Gretchen made sure we had it fixed by the next day. I was so stressed about my rental period ending and not having a long term rental lined up. Gretchen offered to extend my stay as long as she could so I wouldn’t have to move into another short term rental. Overall, Gretchen is an absolute gem and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a short term rental."

"Amazing experience by Gretchen our house for a St. Augustine anniversary vacation. She is proactive, insightful on what vacationers want and need, and efficient. Due to unforeseen occurrence, we could have had to cancel the original booking, but she saved us by immediately contacting us and putting us up in a lovely home. We would have been find with a comparable stay or understood that life happens, but she upgraded us with a home that had just about the same if not more amazing qualities we were looking for. Beach access was great, location was great. We had the time of our lives."
