"You guys are gonna love Heidi and John and this lovely property they have invested their resources and love into. The cottage was exceptionally clean and well stocked with dishes and appliances. Heidi thoughtfully equipped the cottages with the extra things and comforts of home that make the cottages function like your very own home away from home. Extra blankets, sheets, towels are a luxury. We brought our fishing boat for a few days and enjoyed the waterways and fished the mangroves. The ice machine is a really nice plus/ extra. We enjoyed Shore, Swordfish grill, Longbeach cafe, and visiting St Armand’s circle. See yall soon!"

"Absolutely wonderful! A hidden oasis close to everything you love about Florida. Beautiful docks (where we tied our flats boat up for the week), stunning beaches a bicycle ride away! Restaurants all in walking distance as well! We relaxed in the lovely Tuna Cabin, there was everything you could need and more! Every cabin will make you smile, the littlest details are carefully thought of. The “boat house” has a commercial ice maker which was key! I recommend bringing a boat if you have one. Kayaks would work too. Heidi has done a fabulous job with the property, and I am sure there will be plenty of new and exciting ideas in years to come! We will be coming back with friends and family! 100% recommend!"

"The Herring House is home to us for two months in the winter. We love it there and the hosts are wonderful people. House is very comfortable and clean and the kitchen fully stocked with anything you might need. We love the front porch (and so does our dog) and it is a quick walk around the corner to sit on their dock and watch the sunsets and the dolphins."

"A group of us, that all live within miles of Cortez decided to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries at these cottages. Each couple had their own cottage. Every cottage is appointed so beautifully, with plenty of cookware, glasses, dishes and anything you could want. The boathouse was an added bonus, with plenty of bar stools, music hookups, ice, etc. Nights we spent by the fire pit and day time some of us fished off the dock and restaurants are easily accessible. We can't wait to go back!"

"We just completed a weeks stay in The Grouper cottage, and can verify all previous positive remarks. Awesome accommodations, great boathouse for gatherings, located in a real old established fishing village with many close restaurants. Heidi the owner/hostess, has not missed a thing to insure all our needs were met. Also perfect to block a few cottages for family gatherings or groups, as great space with many options."
