"I've been living in this place for almost two years and while I gave a very positive review when I first moved in as I was very happy with the place, things have unfortunately changed. The only positive experience I've had is dealing with the leasing manager, Alex Arana. It is unfortunate because all could be easily fixed if the owners and property manager cared to do things right and treated their tenants with more respect and consideration. While the apts are beautiful inside and the location is convenient to my interests, the ongoing inconveniences we have to deal with in a regular basis leave much to be desired. Things like the elevator breaking down constantly which is an old and recurring issue well known to the owners and management office which they simply opt to ignore. We have to wait days to see it fixed without even getting a notification from the office nor an update for the repairs, which evidently are quick, temporary fixes as it keeps breaking down. We are completely disregarded as tenants and basically left on our own here, especially on weekends and nights as there's no one in charge nor a number to call when issues arise. Also, they recently removed the security guards from the premises also without warning us as the most basic consideration and courtesy. This is a delicate issue as the building is not in a safe area right on Calle Ocho, near motels and homeless people on the street, with direct access to our wide open parking lot, elevators and stairs which puts us all at risk for vandalism, robbery or physical harm not having gates or security guards around. Cars have already been stolen here and broken into. The owners and managers are well aware of all this and still choose to completely ignore our concerns, messages or calls. They evidently don't care a bit about the safety of their tenants and most certainly don't appreciate the value of having good, quality people."

"We are going through an issue with construction so many people have called and email to complain but the office just ignores us. The manager didnt tell us about construction until months after it started. We been going through hell every day for months with construction on the road in front of our buildings until 5am almost every day of the week. I posted pictures I see residents speaking about the noise in the group emailed to manager. When he wrote everyone back the email to tell us about construction months later, he attached every person's email address to the email exposing our personal emails to other people. This is a privacy issue. But the construction has been a crazy, the noise of big sounds of them breaking the ground is so bad. We tell the office every day when will this end and every week they say 1 more week. Nothing has been done to help us with the noise, i call no answer, i leave a message no answer, i email and no answer. I see no people here in the office like us. They only want money after you sign the lease. They don't even ask if we ok after and if we able to work in the morning after crazy noise. I see people are so angry here because they dont show they care. They even take away our security, even after people come together to write a letter to the office to say we need it. We use to have night security and they take away because she the owner make all the money from us and never show her face here. So much accidents here when security left. I pay too much money and not have help here for myself. I dont feel safe here, i worry everyday because no help is here for me at night. If you do anything today please listen to my review and go live somewhere where you feel safe and heard. They have nothing here and no sleep at night and no security for safety. "The property management team was always helpful, so it was certainly a surprise to me that they just take most of your deposit. I agree with one of the reviewers that certain reviews are from folks working at the property management company and are not actual tenants. You would think that if you leave the apartment in a decent condition they would give you back your deposit in full. Unfortunately, although I loved living there, they take half of your deposit and say they used the money to repaint. They're betting on you not pursuing them legally because they know it will cost you much more than to just lose your deposit. I kept in touch with several other folks who have since left the building, and the same thing happened to them. Great place and great building though."

"I've been living here for two years and I can honestly say it was an ok experience. the apartment is remolded and spacious and I have a great view of all the lush green tree's in coral gables. I wouldn't say the apartments closer to 8 street have the same experience because all the noise from traffic ( and Calle ocho caravans and parades are extremely loud when they do happen and causes extreme traffic. But those only happened 5 times in 2 years) oh and those apartments only have traffic views on that side, no greenery I was paying 1,675 for a 1/1 - 800 Sq feet. they did not raise my rent during the pandemic which was very kind of them but this year they decided to raise the rent $435 leaving my rent at 2,105 which i find way too expensive, (tried to negotiate a better price but leasing office didn’t care too even give me a chance to stay) therefore I moved somewhere that offer more for my money. although the apt is nice inside, I don't think a rent that high is worth it. Pros -safe area -clean building -nice views from my window -remolded -spacious -Washer/Dryer in unit -They have Security Guard during the night Cons -Thin walls -One parking -Rarely any guest parking -No Balcony -No Gym -No Pool -No pets allowed (yet many people do have dogs here) -Elevator breaks down A LOT -cramped small kitchen -Leasing office is only open Mon-Fri (if something breaks during the weekend (like the a/c which has happened 3x in a year ) you have to wait till Monday to get the issue resolved. -Leasing office staff is extremely rude! Alex the officer manager talks down on you and isn’t helpful at all. * also the leasing office will find any excuse to not give you the full deposit on the security. I had a tv hung up on my wall and they deducted $200 from my total deposit for the holes on the wall that I patched up but I guess it wasn’t good enough for them. Any reason to keep your money! Be aware of that you might not get the whole thing back the day you move."

"My husband and I moved in a couple months ago to this property, for us the decision to move to 800 Capri has been an opportunity to continue with our plan to improve our quality of life especially due to the pandemic. We feel safe and happy enjoying a brand new apartment with smart appliances, and a beautiful location like is Coral Gables, all this have helped us to appreciate how important is to seek our well-being where we are spending more time like a family. The community and neighbors have managed to be the icing on the cake, living here has been amazing and we're excited for all the memories that we are going to make. We highly recommend it."
