The Avenues at Winter Springs

"If you take any advice. Take this advice! DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!!!!! This is by far the most unprofessional and nastiest complex I have ever moved in to. The first apartment I moved into in November had roaches, cabinets were extremely damaged, they tried to hide a broken light cover on the balcony by turning it to where the crack was against the wall, the toilet had piss stains all along the caulking tape, and they did NOT clean the apartment before moving me in. I had maintenance come to my apartment at least 9 times all for different things in a matter of 3 months!! Then I asked to be transferred to another building because of some weird neighbors I was dealing with, they told me they couldn't move me unless something happened to me or to my apartment. I finally got them to transfer me, and now the apartment I'm in is INFESTED with Brown banded roaches and German cockroaches!! Literally infested. Just found at least 5 German cockroaches in my dogs' food bowl. The roaches are all over the apartment. In the bathroom, the kitchen, the living room, living underneath the carpet, and the bedroom. A day after I was moved in, I called the Regional Managers office number and asked him to put me in for the bug guy. I called early in the afternoon on Monday, the bug guy comes on Monday's. Nobody ever came to spray my house. 3 days later I went to the leasing office to see if they put me down to get my apartment sprayed, and he (the Regional Manager) did NOT. Now I have to wait a whole other week just to be able to sleep in this apartment comfortably and not worry about roaches climbing and living in all my furniture. They moved me into an apartment (2 TIMES) where multiple things are broken, but stated "it's move in ready." There are cops in here at least 2-3 times a week. The only person you can trust in here is Sarah. She's a leasing consultant, and she will ensure things get taken care of when you bring them to her attention. BUT If you want to keep your sanity and you want to live comfortably, I am telling you now. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!!!!"

"I have toured and visited this property throughout the times of looking for an apartment. Each and every time we were greeted with a happy or friendly face. In the past month we had to find an apartment on short notice and they went above and beyond to meet our needs. They processed our applications and got us into an apartment in a couple of days. We ran into a couple of issues with the first apartment and even after signing the lease they worked with us to find another apartment. Sarah was nothing less than the best leasing specialist you could ask for. Super kind and friendly. Comparative to other management companies or properties, I would put them at the top for how they treated us and our situation."

"The office staff is nice and helpful. Sarah took the time to help us transfer to a new apartment and was super nice and helpful the whole time. Maintenance seems to be nice and helpful as well! The only issue that I have noticed is that there seems to be a bug issue but they have sent out pest control to help. Overall, we are satisfied with the apartment and the staff!"

"I have been living at the Avenues for almost a year now and has been going good so far except for the last few months I have experienced an extreme amount of roaches and this is a huge concern of mine as I am a full time mom to a 3 year old and is so unhealthy for her to have that many in our apartment it is awful I have had pest control come out and it did not help. It got to a point where my apt become unlivable. I spoke with Sarah and I will say I give her a 5 star rating as she really helped me and listened to my concerns from day 1 and made things happen efficiently. she helped me get out of that bug infested apartment and into another building in hopes this will be better! I can't stress enough how much I am grateful for Sarah, you can tell she really cares and people and their situation and makes it a point to go above and beyond. Like I said she listened to my concerns and got myself and my daughter into another building and apartment as fast as she could and was very on top of things. I don't have many complaints except for the bugs. That needs to get handled quickly! Sarah you are amazing and I appreciate you so much! people like you will make a difference! The new apartment she got me in looks clean and ready to be moved into. Austen is also assisting with getting a wasps nest that is on the balcony! Thank you guys for helping out when it was very much needed!"

"DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! First and foremost check the mailboxes for all you need to know. They don’t even care to repair them. They will move you into an old apartment before a new apartment but charge new apartment rates. They up charge rent for trash removal and it is overall disgusting the trash workers drop and leave trash everywhere. These apartments are infested with roaches and small ants, they do not acknowledge or handle maintenance request in a timely manner nor give notice when they are coming to the unit, there are severe plumbing issues that requires for them to constantly do emergency maintenance and shut off the whole building water. The A/C barely works they will leave you hot for weeks/months. The office communication is terrible!! Save yourselves and do not move here!"
