Northwood Apartments

"Its really changed in the past two year or so since I have lived there. Prices are going way up for a pretty low quality of living, and the customer service with the new company( hgliving) is non existent, and problematic. Patti and James are wonderful people and try thier best to help, but since it was bought by a corprate company HG living, its lacking in many areas otherwise. 1st off know that it was and has been a safe place to live considering its in belleview. For me anyway when I lived here. I never had any issues or feeling uncomfortable as a single women living there. Its a great starter apt for someone of low income by themselves or a college student. The only previous complaint I had when I lived there was not having central AC. Its quite warm in the summer with just a window unit in even the 1 bedroom apts, and when I moved out there was mold developing behind my pictures I had on the wall. Its not the prettiest or the best but if its something to try to live alone for the first time, with no roomates, it was worth it to me. I wouldnt say its a long term living but its also better than the streets."

"They take almost $150 from you and you don't get it back even if you are declined. That's bs. I mean keep the $45 for the background and credit check but I shouldn't lose 100 of it for a holding fee on something I couldn't get into. And this was literally in a 24 hour period."
