"Manager is well not to nice. And this place well let's just say I wouldn't let my dog stay here. Nasty rooms and nasty people working here. If you stay they will want to know all your personal business and will talk about you once you do stay here. This place is trash burn marks all over the room, holes in walls, poor patch jobs, no phone in room in case if an emergency. Unsafe and wanted us to pay $140 to stay in a room with no a/c. Screw that. Refund thanks and we will never be back. I do not recommend this place to anyone"

"The lady who runs this hotel is nasty. I stayed for a total of 19 days; paid for every week through to Sunday morning; I originally checked in on a Sunday evening. Regardless of not working the first 6 days staying there; and struggling to work the second week, the last week I was able to work Sunday-Thursday. And finally feeling some financial relief. This lady (for lack of a better term) decided to claim I was rude to staff - (keep in mind I was gone all week that last week) and I only had negative interactions with her and her bestie/coworker/whatever she is! The other staff I feel sorry for and had zero problems with and I dare anyone to find more that them two women at that place that have a cross word to say about me! On my first day off after working all that last week (the third week there June 26th-July 1st), she charges me more money ON TOP of kicking me out TWO days early!!! I had paid on June 26th to stay until July 3rd!! I would recommend where I came!!! Kitchenettes, cheaper weekly rate than Emerald Sands AND they have monthly rates that make the rooms $50/night!!! Full size fridge, an actual bathroom door and the TV down where it is eye level - not on the ceiling!!! Bonus here! NO roaches, or waking up with headaches due to black mold!!! This woman claims she is paid up therefore DO NOT LINE HER POCKETS!! She has tenants throughout apartments in the back - apartments that they will let you apply for and pay the application fee, but once you ask if there are any available and check on your application - they know nothing. Then, instead of talking to you like a human being, they order you down their office hallway; bark at you if you so much as vocalize a response of any sort; then tell you they deny your application to apartments that they told you last week they didn't have. I pity the current tenants and would advise anyone who has a certain moral compass to avoid this slumville as much as humanly possible. Good luck and you have been warned to anyone who chooses to stay regardless. Things that make you go ughhhhh..."

"I will say, I read the reviews after my granddaughter booked the room and I was a little nervous. The reviews weren't very good. But when I got to the hotel, the lady at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. I opened the door to the room and was very surprised. It smelled clean, everything was clean, it was nice and cool, the mattresses were awesome. The tub was huge and had jets in it, the bathroom was good sized so we weren't cramped up like you normally would be in a hotel. The ice machine worked unlike a hotel that I stayed at last week and it was a quiet property. I would recommend this place to anyone. It was almost half the price of a popular chain hotel I stayed at and a whole lot better."

"I really wish I had something good to say about this place. This hotel needs some serious help. A complete renovation. My husband and I stayed here on Memorial Day weekend and let's just say I didn't want to sit on the furniture, take my shoes off or use their blankets. Thank God I brought my own blanket and my own pillows. Online it says they have a swimming pool they do not! The remote didn't work the bathtub was extremely dirty and stained and the room smelled bad. The hotel sits in front of a small group of apartments that are very run down and shady looking and there is no barrier between the hotel and apartments. There were no plugs close to the beds so you could charge your devices. I honestly feel like I should get a refund! If I had to try to find something good to say they had hot water cold air condition. I really hope whoever owns this place starts spending their money on their business and not whatever else they're spending their money on!!! You could spend the same amount I did and get way better. Don't fall for their false advertisement!"

"Our stay has been great. The staff is respectful and friendly. The prices are great right down to laundry. It's clean and cozy,especially for its age. They are pet friendly and provide a animal area so your pet can do it's business and get some play in. No complaints here at all and if someone has complained their either very spoon fed or was doing something that's not allowed because staff here stay on top of everything. (There's no bed bugs or roaches either)"
