"If you’re looking for some Detroit style pizza with excellent pizza sauce, then come to death by pizza Delray! Pizza: I tried the Jabaroni pizza and the chicken wings. I really enjoyed both! I thought the pizza was very filling as the slices were very thick with a nice crust and a tasty sauce. They actually have a decent amount of sauce on the pizza, unlike most places that serve pizza and the area. Atmosphere: It is a takeout establishment only! Price: The price of the pizza isn’t too cheap, but the quality of the sauce and the thickness of the crust and pizza makes it worth it. Parking: Parking to get the takeout is very limited with only three spots available in front of the building. The good thing is that everyone is just grabbing it and going super quickly so you don’t have to wait too long for a spot."
"We heard about death by Pizza from Instagram. It’s been serving Detroit style pizza since 2020. We ordered the honey barbecue tenders and the Meatball Burrata Pizza. The tenders had a nice crunch, but the wings would have been better. The crust was light, airy and crunchy. The toppings were incredibly fresh, and the dollop ricotta was creamy. The chocolate chip cookie was the best cookie I have ever eaten. It was chewy and rich with chocolate chips. Death by Pizza made it to the #1 spot for high-quality pizza. The location is a walk-in spot, not a place to dine in. Calling ahead is an option, but we waited 20 minutes at the most! Thank you!"
"The most amazing pizza you will eat in South Florida...or possibly the entire state. For a native New Yorker to admit that this Detroit style pizza is better than some of the slices I've grown up with is a bold statement. The greatest part is you don't feel like you are trying to digest a ball of bread after because it's so light and fluffy. Just amazing. Take out only so no atmosphere to really speak of. Very tight quarters to try and order."
"By far the best pizza we’ve had in South FL in a long time. Very unique pizzas that really redefine what a pizza is. They’re thick, filling, and always cooked well and crispy. Pricey, but definitely worth it. Will continue to highly suggest this place to any pizza lover. Repeat customer here."
