"My wife and I went to Burt & Max's Saturday early evening with our 1 year old. Great food (chicken and waffles was legit), reasonable prices, perfect outdoor patio, and to top it off right by a large turf outdoor area. This helped with getting our little guy some space while enjoying dinner and a drink. We noticed a couple other families while we were there doing the same. Highly recommend for dining and for the family flexibility with young kids."

"I was a bit underwhelmed with the dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive. My wife had the pasta and shrimp dish, it was ok. I had a chicken sandwich and they served me a frozen tomato on it. Perhaps the freezer was too cold where the tomato was stored, but the chef should have picked up on it. The chicken lettuce wraps were ok. It is a nice atmosphere and the staff is very nice, it would have just been nice if the food was as good as the staff and atmosphere. Perhaps it was an off night."

"The food here is absolutely delicious (Also, I love that they can accommodate to any allergies and/or food concerns.. plenty of healthy and vegetarian choices available!) There’s valet available directly in front of the restaurant. The ambiance is truly unique here and my favorite in the area (the fire pit and outside heaters make for a lovely night out). I noticed several happy hour options and lunch specials offered during the week! I definitely recommend the BBQ meatloaf.. but literally everything is so good- the tomato bisque, cocktails, pizza, and for dessert, the Mississippi mud cake is a MUST have when you go!"

"Really good food and service. The two of us shared a huge serving of edamame which was excellent--nice and hot, fresh and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. My friend had a burger and sweet potato fries and I ordered the beet salad. We both ate every bit of food on our plates, and they were very full. My salad had a base of fresh baby spinach loaded with red and yellow chunks of beets, feta cheese and slivered almonds and tossed with a balsamic vinaigrette. Yum!"
