"Stayed here for trip on cruise. Not far to cruise terminals. Hotel restaurant bar limited food. Shuttle service to Cruise lines by private company. A few eateries walking distance from hotel. Rooms nice. About 10-15 from airport."

"Very friendly staff, room was clean, lobby & eating area clean. We had 2 queen beds / nice TV / Air conditioner was cold although controls didn't work. The front of building faces I95 & traffic, so ask for a room opposite side for more quiet. Breakfast buffet was very good ($12 per adult) & from the bar at night we had pretzel bites & loaded fries, both good."

"Like a low rent apartment. Shoddy water pressure, flat and terrible pillows. We called 5 times to the front desk, got no answer from housekeeping. And waited over an hour simply for a couple more flimsy pillows. Bed was very uncomfortable. Guest services is generally apothetic and unhelpful. We got two unsolicited knocks on our door from housekeeping for seemingly no reason other than them being lost. The location is weird. Lots of homeless in the area and generally dirty. Was told a 3pm airport shuttle would be available but was late. Overall pretty disappointing experience would not recommend."

"A Disappointing Experience at Marriot Convoy Four, Ft Lauderdale Review: I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Marriot Convoy Four in Ft Lauderdale, and I feel compelled to share my less than satisfactory experience. The first thing that hit me upon arrival was the overpowering smell of fumigant, which was particularly strong on the third floor and within our room. This not only made our stay uncomfortable but also raised concerns about the cleanliness and upkeep of the property. However, what truly marred our stay was the level of customer service, or more accurately, the lack thereof. The front desk staff seemed completely incompetent, providing little help or information when needed. We were left waiting for over two hours for a simple request to be fulfilled, an unacceptable lapse in service that only added to our frustration. The lobby was filled with disgruntled customers echoing our sentiments, a testament to the poor management of this establishment. It was clear that we were not the only guests who were unhappy with their experience. This was a truly terrible experience, one that I would not wish upon anyone. Management at the Marriot Convoy Four in Ft Lauderdale needs to urgently address these issues to ensure future guests do not have to endure the same ordeal. As it stands, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this hotel to others. Rating: 1/5 Stars"

"Arrived early evening on the 23rd without a booking at Fort Lauderdale airport hotel four points to catch a flight next morning. Only the Check in was friendly and quick, I was asked for my credit card, OK, asked for a receipt of the amount charged, was told nothing is charged - will all be done at check out. In the morning I was told that all is good - I can go. I asked for an invoice or receipt to know what had been charged on my credit card - I was told that I will receive that in my email( nobody had even asked for my email) I insisted that I want an invoice now which shows clearly the amount and that it was paid, took some more time and arguing until I finally got a print out. Then asked for a taxi to the airport, and was pointed to a woman who was busy with her cell phone. When asked how much she would charge for the Taxi I was ignored for a while and then told she doesn’t know, and that she is just the driver, arguing back and forth, then she was shouting at me. I then asked reception to please call me another taxi, took another 15 minutes, nothing showed up. At no point neither reception nor driver told me that it was a hotel shuttle bus, and that it was free of charge. I was constantly shouted at by this woman, the male receptionist was not helpful either. This was the worst experience I ever had in any hotel anywhere in the world and I will avoid the Marriott hotel group in the future for sure."
