"Dr. Weider has been my dentist for a number of years. He is an excellent dentist, very knowledgeable, competent, skilled and experienced in his field. Moreover, Dr. Weider is very pleasant and friendly to boot! I feel that I can trust his judgment concerning my teeth without hesitation. His office staff also are very competent. The front desk personnel are conscientious, friendly, concerned, and very pleasant both when you are in the office and talking with them over the phone. Shirley, especially, is very capable and knowledgeable about office procedures and insurance benefits, etc.. Dr. Weider's dental assistants are always conscientious. Rita, the hygienist, is really wonderful. The office is run efficiently; there are never any lengthy wait times or mixups from my experience. I highly recommend Aventura Dental Excellence for anyone needing dental work."

"Do not recommend this dentist. DO NOT GET FILLINGS FROM HIM. He just wants to drill instead of providing alternatives. His fillings done on me were deliberately poor so that I would get cavities and ultimately need to get my teeth pulled. His way of practicing is very insidious and distasteful. He is also very insensitive and unprofessional. His staff overcompensates for his lack of empathy and understanding. I held him accountable for his poor work and he just walked out of the room. Get a second opinion before doing anything he advises. I will NEVER go back to this place after the botched job this guy did. I will make it my mission to steer everyone away from this practice. Your office may look nice and the staff may be very personable, but a terrible dentist will always show through that. If you are unable to do a certain job, do not bait someone in leading them to believe you are skilled when this is something you clearly lack. Just retire."

They told me no crown was needed and instead filled a cavity and it has been fine for many years. I started going here instead and the level of Professionalism is absolutely top shelf. "Great office! Very efficient…we started on time, which was a great first impression. The dentist is very knowledgeable with a lot of experience. I really appreciated that he explained everything in detail. He is very patient, and makes sure that you’re comfortable each step of the way. The dental hygienist was great as well. She was able to remove some stains from my teeth with just once simple cleaning (something that a prior dentist office couldn’t). I am very happy and pleased with all the work this office does.
