"Called as new patient (new to area) who would like to establish as patient and get Cleaning. Waited about 5 months to get in as new patient and scheduled for the cleaning. At this visit, full X-rays, as expected. Was then told I needed debridement (at a cost of $94, and not covered by Ins) to remove plaque before they would do a cleaning. It had been 14 months since my last in-office dental cleaning with another dentist. I take care of my teeth and don’t have any dental issues. Yet this dentist office said they wouldn’t clean my teeth without me first having and paying for this extra procedure. The hygienist told me this. Dentist never looked in my mouth. I left without getting the extra service. The dentist came to the reception area as I was leaving and asked if there was a problem. I explained what I was told and then the dentist agreed with the hygienist that debridement would be required before a cleaning. She never even looked in my mouth, didn’t get within 5 feet of where I stood. I did find another dentist, waited about a month for appt, and had the regular cleaning without any problems or extra debridement suggestion. I am only giving a 1-rating because zero is not an option."

Dr. Medina does beautiful dental work and it is relatively painless. My appointments are made easy and always leave satisfied. Definitely one of the best dentist in our area!"
