"Both my wife and I had an introductory visit today and both of our visits ended terribly. First of all we had an appointment at 2:10 and 3:30 and we didn’t get seen until 2:40 and after 4 o’clock which was ridiculous to begin with. But during our visit, we both saw a ‘Dr’ that was via zoom with a crappy back drop of coast dental fake building. This was after the hygienist or whatever took X-rays of us which was probably the most pain we both have ever had during X-rays. Besides the fact no one really spoke English it was just all around terrible. Our insurance is in network and we still both had a ‘treatment plan’ of over 2000 because they try to push gingivitis and deep cleaning on both of us. We both have healthy teeth and healthy gums. We get annual cleanings and exams. We had to find a new dentist because our old dentist no longer took our insurance. Extremely unhappy and dissatisfied with the visit and we will not be continuing our dental journey with Coast Dental."

"The time spent in the dental chair exceeded my expectations. It was over 2 hours and possibly, that is normal for a new patient in this practice. They are good at upselling procedures, including desensitizing your gums prior to cleaning. I admit it was on the quote I signed but I do not remember it being pointed out or explained."

"The absolute worst experience. First they charged me over $1800 for a cleaning. Ok, sure. Necessary evil, I suppose. Then I get a letter in the mail saying I still owe $316! I called my insurance company, and they said there was probably a miscommunication. They say if the office would get in touch with them, they could sort it out. Both myself AND my insurance company have been reaching out for over 2 weeks now and this office will not answer the phone. When I had gotten an answer, only after calling another coast dental office and making them call the original, all I get is attitude from the horrible office manager they have there. Oh, and also, they wanted to charge me $14k for the work I "needed," and I'm getting the EXACT SAME work done at another dentist for under 5k. Needless to say, I will never use this company again, and I highly recommend you don't either. Panther Hollow is in town, and they are 10x better."

"I am here for a simple cleaning which normally is a 45 minute to 1 hour process. I have been sitting in this room for an hour now and still haven’t seen a hygienist. One person took an inordinate amount of X-rays and it was more painful than any other time I have had X-rays taken. I am running out of patience so I may not get to rate the actual cleaning if it doesn’t happen in the next 15 minutes. This is ridiculous. 0 out of 10 do not recommend. Edit: when I did finally get a hygienist, I was told my cleaning was going to cost me $233. I chose not to pay that and went home to look up my policy. It states that 2 free cleanings per year are covered so I have no idea why they are trying to charge me that. I will be looking for another dentist."
