Mai Dentistry of Hudson

"Dr. Mai was my dentist. He replaced four individual crowns with a single bridge. The temporary he installed broke twice. I overheard employees discussing the materials being used descibed as cheap and not as good as good as they used to get. They seemed anxious to charge my Humana card rather than bill Humana insurance. The upper partial Dr. Mai designed and fitted pulled off my new crowns while removing it, twice. I was told that I was the problem."

"My experience here was not good! Prices kept changing and she (dentist) pulled an infected tooth, the pain I felt was horrible pain, I passed out. Took me a year to get the courage to see another dentist."

"Absolutely embarrassing!! I made an appointment last week I asked if they accept my insurance they claimed yes they do. Go in first thing this morning and they were having an issuing “finding my insurance” it took 3 people to look at my insurance card like I’m sorry but we don’t accept it. However we do have other options if I was to pay 75 for some plan they could see me or I would have to pay $100 for the visit since it’s out of network and that’s why it wasn’t confirmed it was the other one said so if you knew before I got there then why embarrass me? Unprofessional and wanted to blame a new person for scheduling me and not knowing they don’t accept my insurance however someone called me to confirm my appointment on Thursday maybe they were new too then I guess since they didn’t say anything about my insurance then. No I feel yall do this to get people to pay because they don’t want to be embarrassed like you just did me. What a joke!!!!"

"Big waste of time for me I received flyers at my house several times looking for new customers so I made an appointment took 2 weeks no problem couple days before my appointment they called ask if I would come in an hour and a half later I said okay no problem got there 10 minutes early to do my paperwork like requested and then waited in the waiting room someone came in behind me waited about 5 minutes and was taken back another person came in behind me waited about 5-10 minutes and was taken back 30 minutes have passed and I got up and left if they can't respect my time then they're not going to get my money. Big waste of time. Why look for new customers if you don't have time to treat them properly. UpDate: You spent more time answering my review than you did with me in your office. But that's fine because I went to Mach dentistry and they are perfect. My appointment was at 1:30. They called me back at 1:33. They're very friendly and professional so it was a good thing. He's located on State Road 52 Hudson."

"So I went to Mai for a consultation. I was told what was needed. The next appointment I scheduled was to fix my two recently chipped front teeth. I haven't been to the dentist in a long time due to having bad childhood experiences. So the next appointment was fabulous even though it was 2 and a half hours long. So my next appointment was scheduled for the permanent crown. I arrived and signed in no one acknowledged me. I waited a half hour and went up to see if they were running on time. That is when I was told my crown hadn't arrived yet. Was told the driver should be there by noon. It was already noon. They knew it wasn't there and should have called me to give me some options. Or at least told me when I checked in. But they were to busy talking about east and west directions when people call them to see if they are on the east or west side of 52!!. I wad really disappointed by this. So I left and told them to call me when it arrives."
