"My unfortunate trip to Vibes Smoke Shop was, as much as it pains me to have to say, just not what I was expecting. My expectations were probably unfairly high, seeing as I had no prior knowledge or visits to the shop before this one-my first, and most likely, my last. However, like all new shops I try, I did my research before heading over: skimming through the impressive number of 5-star reviews, from what appeared to be from ligament, happy customers. To sum it up, I scrolled through the raving shoppers' promises of an excellent smoke shop experience in my future. However, upon arrival, I was instantly let down by the number of water pipes that lined the shelves. With a closer look, the pieces that had some value and would last me longer than just a few months were priced way beyond what I would have ever paid. If there is one thing on this Earth that I am confident in, it's my knowledge about glass. The pieces that were reasonably priced would not have sat right next to my impressive glass collection at home, or have matched their silky smooth standards and dragon-like clouds. I was disappointed. The selection was very limited, and NOTHING had a price tag, which was a little annoying. I went to this shop with my heart set on buying a water pipe, so I handed over $60 and bought what I thought would be a piece to hold me over until I found the gem I was truly looking for- elsewhere. When I got home, I fired her up. I couldn't believe it. I had been sold a cracked piece. No, I did not crack it on the way home. Not only had the associate bubble wrapped it a few times over, but I had also cradled it in my arms until the two of us were safely inside. I knew better than to take the piece back to the store, receipt or not. I have never been to a smoke shop which allowed returns or exchanges, and rightfully so. Except, of course, in situations such as this. Make sure you check your piece before you leave, and then double-check it. After it is wrapped up and put in a bag for you, it is my suggestion to check it again in the parking lot before you leave the property. I guess I learned my lesson, $60 later."
