"Great samples of every type of floor. Just thought I would do an update...2 years almost since tile floor went down. I wish I had chosen a darker grout. I had a taupe color that came out white. Installers used it very wet. (I have done alot of floor grout in younger years when my knees were good.) Furniture was moved back same day as grouted and as a result much of the grout has come out in areas (5% of area.) Grout in tile areas done 20 years ago still good, so it wasn't faulty material or shifting/settling house. Fortunately, I still have my tools so I can repair it."

"I'm afraid I can't go along with all the other great reviews here. I'm not sure what happened, but our experience was a giant disappointment! First of all, we were gone on vacation for a month and I was repeatedly assured that they could take up the old tile and put down new tile while we were gone. Well, this didn't happen. We arrived home at 2 in the morning from Europe to the tile being removed and only 1/2 of the house tiled. That was it. We couldn't move our furniture out of our bedroom (one of 2 rooms that they didn't tile) to even get to our bed. An absolute nightmare. The tile guys showed up the next day and worked hard for 2 full days and did get it done by the end of the second day. But they were putting down the tile, grouting and moving heavy furniture and washer and dryer back on the tile all in the same day. From everything I've read, that is not what is supposed to be done. But by then, they were in a hurry to get done. I never got a call from Friendly Floors apologizing for this until the third day, and then acted like I had come back from vacation early! NO! Then by the third day I could finally do laundry, and the utility room filled up with steam, as the dryer was not connected to the vent. Then I had paid an extra $1,000 for dustless tile removal, and in the two rooms that were closed off, there was still so much dust there was a coating on everything in the room. The blinds and everything in the closets were even covered in dust. I questioned whether dustless was even used, but assured that it was. I wasn't here, and I'm sure every house is a little different, but no one that I have talked to that had the dustless had anything like this. Then today I was told that there was a subfloor that also had to be removed and there was an extra charge of $654. Why didn't they tell me that the first time I talked to them? They said they would give me pictures. But I don't understand how our vertical blinds are now too long and are going to have to be rehung if they removed a subfloor and tile. If anything, it seems like they should be too short. I'm just not feeling good about any of this. They did agree to split the extra charge, but only after I asked for reimbursement for eating out the two days when they were here after we returned. That's when it was even brought up that there was an additional charge. Our driveway is also orange (rust stained) from their saws I'm sure! I am going to power wash and see if this comes out but I definitely did not want a painted driveway, which may be my only choice. I would not use Friendly Floors again nor would I recommend them to anyone."

"LONG TIME CUSTOMER - Until they forget you. After IAN I called for weeks (when they had reopened) and asked for floor estimates for redoing our floors damages. Rugs to. No response ever. My wife asking to why no one ever called us back was told " We got ALL of your husbands calls and we don't do estimates or come to figure damage costs estimates. " "We ONLY SELL FLOORING". WOW. So we took our business elsewhere. Found a great local PGI company and passed their name around. They are currently getting 40% of the 144 unit complex plus clubhouse etc... and maybe more. I Guess you sometimes get to BIG to remember the local fulltime customers that you used to have. Lousy business model. Good thing is we never have to cross the bridge again to spend our money and the response from these floor sales reps and installers is daily sometimes more than 1 calls a day. Someone in the office can help you if you prefer to stop in. GOODBYE NOT SO FRIENDLY FLOORS. ."

"Following hurricane Ian, we had to remove wall to wall carpeting and decided to put in a waterproof wood floor. Friendly Floors had a great selection and super advise. Tina came to our house to measure the space. Flooring was ordered and installed before Thanksgiving. The installers were Bob and Alex. They’re from the same home town as John Cougar Mellencamp. Bob and Alex are rock stars in their own way. The floor is better than we expected."

"After extensively researching local flooring companies on line to do the floors with laminate in our bedrooms, we chose Friendly Floors. They installed the floors last week and, I must say, we chose well! On our first visit to the store, we met Violet who positioned herself less as a salesperson and more as a consultant. She was very knowledgeable, professional and really helped us make an informed decision. Tina came to our home to provide us with an estimate and we agreed to move forward on the spot! Tina was very experienced and answered more of our questions professionally. On installation day, our two installers, Joe and Jason showed up exactly on time and, as we requested, wore masks through the entire process. These guys are real craftsman and have been doing this kind of work for about20 years. They were meticulous. The laminate boards were fitted in the most advantageous way and they even took great care at making sure the quarter round molding was mitered in a seamless fashion. As a bonus, these are two very interesting and nice guys! If you use Friendly Flooring, which we hope you do, we highly recommend that you ask for these installers! We like that Friendly Floors is a local, female owned business. Nice to support local businesses like this."
