"While it is not listed as a service offered, if you have a Grandmother/Grandfather clock that needs servicing and you live in the Ocala/Dunellon region of Florida I am strongly recommending that you give Mr. Butler a call. He is one of the most trustworthy business owners I have had the pleasure of working with in addition to his stellar turn around time(TAT)! My mother inherited her Dad's Grandmother clock made in Germany which was overwound and broke the spring. We tried using "Time Machine" at Diggers Antique Mall and had the most awful experience which ultimately required threatening to call Ocala PD to get the clock back after almost 7 months of lies, runarounds & empty promises. Time Machine finally returned it to us disassembled and I couldn't find anyone who would touch a clock someone else worked on. I spoke with Mr. Butler and he made it clear he couldn't promise me he'd get it fixed with not knowing what another person did to it, but he would take a look and see what he could do. We had no other options as It was an heirloom and mom wanted it working again. Mr. Butler assessed the clocked within days and advised the cost of the parts, the approximate repair cost, and how long it would take to fix after parts were delivered. To my surprise he had it running again WITHIN 2 WEEKS! He and his wife have multiple services that are their primary business, clocks are (likely to be "were" lol) so please be aware that the circumstances for TAT may change the more word gets out about his ability to repair these old clocks, but make no mistake.... he is 100% trust worthy and reliable unlike the limited alternative option for this dying art! I couldn't recommended him enough! You can fully expect to have the issue clearly explained accompanied an accurate timeframe for the repairs to be completed if he can do it! I will forever go back to Mr & Mrs. Butler for any services that I need & they offer based on this experience alone. They are truly not the type of folks that will ever take advantage of you or anyone you send on your behalf if you're unable to be present yourself. Please reach out to them before you waste your time anywhere else, you won't regret it! 100 stars is a more accurate representation of our experience with these wonderful folks!"
