"I recently had a disappointing experience at Total Wine, which compelled me to share my feedback. While most of the staff at this store are respectful and helpful, I encountered a particularly rude and dismissive employee during my visit. Upon approaching the register to make my purchase, the woman at the register immediately demanded to see my ID. I politely asked if she needed to scan it, to which she responded in a very rude and nasty manner, "Well, I need to see it!" Her tone and demeanor were completely uncalled for and left a negative impression. After completing the payment for my items, I thanked her, but she did not respond or provide me with a receipt when I reached for it. It was only later that I realized she had failed to include my other items in the bag, leaving them behind at the register. This oversight was particularly frustrating considering that my items were clearly visible to her, and she made no effort to inform me or rectify the situation. In an attempt to address the issue, I called the store multiple times to speak with a manager. However, even the manager I eventually reached was unapologetic and seemed indifferent to my concerns. This lack of accountability and customer service further added to my frustration. I am deeply disappointed by the mistreatment I experienced during my visit to Total Wine. The disrespectful behavior of the employee, coupled with the unapologetic response from the manager, left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. It is disheartening to encounter such poor customer service, especially when most of the staff at this store are typically respectful and helpful. I hope that Total Wine takes this feedback seriously and addresses the need for improved training and customer service standards. No customer should be subjected to such rude and dismissive behavior, particularly when their items are left behind without any acknowledgment. I sincerely hope that my experience serves as a reminder to the management to prioritize customer satisfaction and ensure that all employees uphold the values of respect and professionalism."
