"While it's not something the the owner of Tropical Kitchens advertises, I discovered Frank Schooley is quite the furniture maker. I guess it shouldn't come as any surprise really as he does make custom kitchen cabinets. I hired him to make a bed that would fit in a very small cottage. It had to be on wheels to easily pull out for cleaning, but I also desperately needed storage. After he and his wife visited my home to get an idea for the tiny space and how I lived, Frank came up with a great solution that was also made exceptionally well. A queen size bed frame that easily fit into a small space but also had pull out drawers underneath for additional storage. And the best part - the drawers were on the same lovely sliders, high end kitchen cabinets are made so I was able to easily slide them out even though they were loaded up. Frank also made a custom shelf to fit in a nook and essentially act as a desk. Again the area was small so he found the perfect spot to give me desk area I needed without taking up too much space. I would gladly hire them again for any project I have!"
