"I am an African American male who has Hirsutism, Folliculitis, and Pseudo-Folliculitis without shaving. The only way to combat my condition is the remove all my facial hair which grows underneath my skin. I had laser hair removal treatments to remove the dark hairs; unfortunately I also have gray hairs which are 50% of my facial hair. The laser treatments worked fine for the elimination of my dark hairs, aside for the one treatment in which I was burned due to the setting being to high. I’ve had a total of 7 laser treatments. Selecting an experienced Electrolosis tech that has experience treating people of color is very important due to the complexity of our skin and hair growth. Prior to being treated by this clinic, my prior Electrolosis tech claimed claimed to have experience treating African American males with dark skin; however after two treatments my face was severely burned and scared with no hair loss or thinning of my hair. She caused more problems than I originally had. My experience with Lianna at this clinic has been exceptional. After several treatments; my skin is returning to normal with no scaring, and permeant hair reduction."
