"Do not recommend. Closet shelf came off the wall after less than 2 months. Owner blames us and the product, when the previous builder grade wire shelf lasted 20 years and held up even more clothes and closet. Refuses to repair the wall damage. When the owner comes to your house, doesn’t introduce himself (found out later), and has a piss poor attitude, that tells you enough to avoid this company."

"My experience with southern closet systems was excellent. I was looking for a local company and found them online. Barbara came out to the house and spent time with us listening to what we wanted and measured everything. She was very efficient and knowledgeable. They worked with us with our budget and we got all the things we wanted in a closet. The time frame was very quick and the installers were so friendly and neat. They were able to finish earlier than expected and we couldn’t be happier w the outcome. I highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed!"

"Three step process for our laundry, first is the design by J. and he help you think of effects of your decisions before the installation so your doors actually swing correctly for example. J. is excellent. Next step is the workers who install the cabinet parts that were made in their Odessa facility. There were a couple detail issues any carpenter would not allow in their own home but they departed my home since my wife did not call them out on it. I sent pictures to the manager and he came out quickly to fix the issues perfectly. Good customer service. Third was a subcontracted counter top with sink who did not have professional skills greater than an educated home owner like me. I spoke to the manager of SCS about the counter top guys and I trust he will find another source. We went with a different company for another project prior to this one and now regret that so we will choose SCS for our largest project next. The leadership in this company makes them better because they seem to actually be carpenters and cabinet makers not just assembly line men."

"We were told that they would be using WOOD. They use they same compressed board as Home Depot , Lowes, etc. Don't waste your money, just go to Home Depot or Lowe's and have their installers do the job."
