"I own a local glass and mirror shop (Manor Mirror Company), and we have supplied glass and mirror to Designs by Sonny on numerous occasions. Our niche is a product known as "antique mirror". Sonny ordered multiple sheets of a pattern of antique mirror from us and then asked us to fabricate it to his dimensions. We did so, he came and inspected the product, paid the balance and took it away to be installed at his client's home. Apparently, his client chose the pattern from an old, small sample piece Sonny had in his possession and felt the material did not match the sample piece close enough and would not accept it. The pattern chosen has some rose (or pink) accents throughout and the small sample piece he showed them didn't happen to have any of the pink in it. Manor Mirror Company has been selling antique mirror for well over 15 years now and we learned long ago to encourage, if not, require the customer to come into our showroom to inspect the material before fabrication to avoid these types of issues. When my secretary (Matia) encouraged Sonny to come in, he stated he didn't feel the need as he had purchased from us in the past. We have our return policy clearly displayed that states that custom fabricated materials may be returned for a 60% restocking charge. Rather than return the materials, Sonny decided to dispute the charges with the credit card company. After much back and forth with the dispute, I wake this morning to find the $5,384.00 has been credited back to him. Please tell me on what planet it is acceptable to order product of this value, inspect it, pay the balance, thus accepting it, install it in your client's home and then receive a full refund of your funds and not return the product. I would caution any contractors considering doing business with this company to strongly reconsider. In my opinion, this is nothing short of theft. Tom Blanski Manor Mirror Company"

"I had my kitchen cabinets designed, custom-fabricated, and installed by Designs By Sonny. This company's product is top-notch, and so are their customer-relations. My husband and I felt very at ease with Ketu, who managed our entire project. Any minor question or concern we had was addressed and handled thoroughly by him. My favorite attribute about this company is it's drive for perfection, which clearly stems from management, on down. I had the opportunity to watch multiple employees quietly work in my home and each of them displayed an attention to detail that was really remarkable. In an industry where it's hard to find people who take pride in their craft, this company is truly a standout. "We used this business three years ago to install new kitchen cabinets. Not only was I rushed to choose colors and styles, but there weren’t many to choose from. I was forced to pick the color gray. Any questions I asked Sonny, he became arrogant and told me if I wanted my money back before the work he would give it to me. Boy I should have taken the money back and hired someone else to do the work. The cabinets are not lined up properly and the door hinges are not the right ones. We were promised more room above the refrigerator and that wasn’t done. The installer put wood planks under the appliances saying he had to make it even. This business is very unprofessional and for the amount of money we payed, I expected a better job to be done. I would not recommend Designs by Sonny to anyone."
