"In my opinion Scam artists who ripped me off for over $5000, asking for a few more hours of diagnostics which I okayed. I brought my car in for a new hybrid battery. Later they told me that they installed a new brake control unit $3700 part. The OEM Part is $1100 new from eBay Motors. I asked for the old part. Told me that they returned it for a core charge. When I called them as my car broke down, on way home with 4 check engine lights. Previously had 2. I was told it was my hybrid battery. I called and asked them as Cedrick had told me and my wife that the car runs good. Called Cedrick and had him listen to the warning noise. He said I needed a new hybrid battery. I LEFT THE KEY HYUNDAI ESTIMATE FOR REPLACING THE BATTERY ON THE PASSENGER SEAT before having it towed from the dealership to Maxi Auto. In my opinion Maxi auto violated FL laws and I am pulling them into court. Owner has now referred me to his attorney. Instead of saying “we messed up” “repair is part of a free recall”. Hybrid battery is what I made the appointment for. The brakes run off power from the battery. When I called and made my appointment I told them I wanted another hybrid battery estimate. The service advisor needs to learn better communication skills and the mechanic was given extra time to diagnose and fix the battery. Go to Jenkins Hyundai if you need anything repaired as they are very honest. Funny how they hide this review on their website."

"For someone who is always worried about getting work done on their car because I don’t know much about vehicles I could be told it’s anything and everything. this place is the BEST! I was told about severe issues I had(which I already kinda knew) and why I was there. And issues that weren’t a problem yet but to keep an eye out for later on down the road. They told me “let’s focus on the more severe issues first.” Usually I’d be told “your vehicle needs all these problems fixed immediately or it will not run.” Basically people just trying to take my money in the past. These amazing people at Maxi Auto Repair couldn’t have been more helpfully and respectful about what I needed done. They communicate so well and very thorough! I will forever be bringing my vehicle here!"
