I've been to so many OTHER shops where they blatantly try to rip you off, and the services and parts some of these other shops try to sell you don't make sense (especially at some of the big shops). But at this place Jr's they are honest and straight to the point. And the prices are good and the service was fast (the times that I've been there). I wish I would have found this place sooner."

"I’m here at JR Automotive in Cutler Bay waiting for my car to be fixed. I have been coming to this shop for approximately two years. I cannot express enough how happy I am to have found this shop!!! I have been to many mechanic’s throughout the years and not one has been able to diagnose and fix the issues that my car was having except for JR at JR Automotive. My check engine light was on for years and no one could figure out what the problem was. JR solved the issue right away. JR is extremely knowledgeable and very honest and up front with his customers. He and his wife are very nice and personable and they go above and beyond to get quality parts needed and in a timely manner. "If you're fine with a mechanic who can 70-80% of the jobs you bring him correctly, with zero customer service, at a decent price, then yea, I recommend you go to him. I just feel like you can get a better experience going elsewhere, and feel better about spending your money while doing it. Read for more details... I've been going to Jr Automotive for a few years, so this review isn't a one off experience. He's a mechanic that can actually do the majority of the job, and doesn't rip you off. That alone puts his shop above plenty of other shops in Miami When it comes to bigger jobs, I wouldn't go to Jr Automotive Services. I had him work on my engine mounts TWICE, and its still an issue to this day. Another review here had the EXACT same issue. Having this happen to 2 different people leads me to believe it isn't a one-off situation Don't expect any customer service at all. You ask a question about your car, what he's doing to it, and why, and he immediately gets defensive and catches an attitude, for the smallest things. Is Jr Autotmotive services absolutely terrible? Definitely not. Is his prices cheaper than a dealership? Yup. But when you start dealing with him a few times, you'll see why I wrote this review the way I have. As I said in the beginning, I feel like you can find better service for the price. If you do go with Jr, I wish you all the best. I have a few mechanics in mind that I'm going to try next. I'll update this review with more info if they're good after vetting them."
