"This is a 20 year old auto repair shop which only has one mechanic - the owner. Though the car lot is almost always filled with cars to repair, the owner refuses to hire a helper. I had two experiences with this business. The first was kind of OK. The second was not OK at all. I made an appointment more than a week ahead to have my car thoroughly checked, bumper to bumper and under the chassis for an upcoming trip. I dropped it off at 8:30am. It was 4:00pm and I hadn't heard anything from them. I went to the shop and found out that my car had not even been looked at yet! After which, the owner-mechanic took less than 5 min. to look at it and make a couple of recommendations. This business does not really communicate. The woman in the office works on her PC from the wall opposite the counter and her back is almost always turned toward you. It should be the other way around! This shop may do good work. But customer service is virtually non-existent, there is little to no communication with the customer and the owner is a poor business man who really doesn't understand how to effectively run a business with customer service being a high priority. I am a retired business and computer professional and have owned two successful businesses in my lifetime. I have been driving for almost 55 years, lived in several states and have owned many different vehicles. This repair shop ranks as one of the poorest in terms of communication and customer service! I have taken my auto repair business to another shop that has 4 mechanics and where customer service is a high priority."
