"Oh my goodness, such a wonderful find! This is our 3rd winter here in Fort Lauderdale and I had not been able to find a seafood market that offers the variety of fresh fish, homemade sides/seasonings and fresh produce - all in one until now! THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! On my 1st visit I needed change for the parking meter and someone kindly made it for me. I also didn't realize you needed to take a number and someone also handed me a number. I can clearly see why they use the numbers, as this place is so popular and can get very busy! This is a hardworking family owned business, with the father and his sons taking pride in their establishment. They blend right in on the front lines and do whatever it takes with the rest of their great team to make this business run smoothly. We have enjoyed talking golf, getting recipes and trying many new varieties of fish (grouper, sheepshead, red snapper) and some from our home like haddock and scallops too. This is the place to go for everything seafood! I have never seen 4 sizes of Florida Stone Crab sold anywhere, they've got it! Their sides are incredible and we always try something new - we especially love their crabcakes, stuffed mushrooms, lobster mac and cheese, peel 'n eat shrimp...and so much more! These people are on the go constantly and they appreciate their customers. I wondered during my initial trip "why" a bell would be rung with a "woo" following it, and quickly figured it out, that this was their way to share their thanks to a customer who tipped them. There are no signs here or places to leave a tip, they are grateful and it's a nice way to thank and appreciate them for all they do. Please be sure to do so, they are grateful and it's never expected - love this! I am sad we will be leaving next week and tomorrow/Saturday will be my last day as my car is getting picked up on Monday or Tuesday so I have to pack it up. We have something close to this at home in Gloucester, MA - Turner's Seafood Market where the variety of seafood, the quality of their fish, their prepared foods and people are so similar...they could trade places as they are both so GREAT! Thanks to The Fish Peddler Team for making our winter meals here in FLL so special, we have enjoyed you, your amazing offerings and service - you're the BEST and we look forward to seeing you in 2025!"

"Good food but portions are diminishing. 6 of us ate and we noticed how small the salmon was, how skimpy the blackened chicken was, how much less there was of the wing appetizer. Definitely seeing shrink-flation."

"Great seafood market. It’s difficult to find fresh seafood at a decent price that is also convenient. This market offers a wide variety of fresh seafood and prepared dishes crab cakes, soups, side dishes, etc). They even have seasonings and gourmet grocery items to complement their products. They had a smoked tuna dip that they gave me a sample of and it was yummy. They will even add more jalapeños to it if you want an extra kick. Great staff, friendly and helpful. This will now be my go to for fresh seafood."
