"Witnessed a cashier be rude and very unnecessarily suspicious towards a young black male customer (IDing him for cash back? And then refusing to do more than one cash back transaction), behavior that has never once been directed at me and I’ve been regularly patronizing this store for years. She claimed it was a “new policy.” This isn’t the first time I’ve personally witnessed there be an unnecessarily unpleasant undercurrent between staff and black (the ones who are American, not black Latinos) customers. This time I tried to speak to the manager about how short the cashier was, but he was very dismissive and he defended the cashier (despite him not being there for the interaction, and having no idea whether or not she was in fact rude). He did not care. He also informed me that the “policy” can be arbitrarily enforced, meaning the cashier “randomly” chose this one black customer to be suspicious of (I wonder why). Very disappointing. Be careful where you shop. Racial biases often aren’t overt, but that doesn’t mean they don’t impact the customer service experience."

"Bad service also hot food section, ordered grilled pork loin and that was dried as hell and couldn't chew the meat. Not sure but I suspect they just boil everything then they just put for a few minutes in the oven to make it look like it was from the oven grill. If I could post pictures but google doesn't let you post pictures. Wasted $7.50 of my hard earned money"

"Great experience. Loved the checkout line. I’m not really to fond about new technology and constantly keeping up with the new trend but seeing this at the self checkout line was pretty impressive. As we get older some of us don’t adapt to new technology. Not here."
