SERVPRO of Apopka-Wekiva

"TL;DR version: If you're looking for a company that will promise big, not deliver at all, drag their feet and cost you lots of money in delays, this is your company. I had a home insurance claim, and Servpro Apopka-Wekiva was the contractor assigned by my insurance company to come give an estimate and potentially do the repair work. I was assured by Joe, who came to do the estimate, that Servpro had enough manpower that they would be able to start work pretty much immediately if we decided to go with them for the repair work. When my local insurance agent reached out to them, however, he was told that we had decided to go with a different company. This was completely untrue. Based on Joe's assurance, we planned to use Servpro for the repairs, since getting the work done quickly was very important to us - we can't get a new home insurance policy until the work is completed. When I called Servpro Apopka-Wekiva directly to ask about this discrepancy, I was told by the construction manager Rachel that they were, in fact, booked up solid and couldn't even begin work on our home for at least 6 months. This is exactly the opposite of what Joe told me when he came to do the estimate. All in all, this puts my family at least another couple of weeks behind in getting these repairs done, which also means we're another couple of weeks with super expensive force-place insurance. Servpro Apopka-Wekiva promised big, didn't deliver at all, and will end up costing my family hundreds, maybe thousands, of dollars, all while doing absolutely nothing for us."
