"Update: Called the company never received a return phone call. Unless Kris the owner has left or change of heart I don’t think there is a resolution. I also filled small claim with this company and got zero response. I dropped the case because I’m just wasting my time. But for anyone else make sure to hire home inspector to document the rebuild. This company took advantage of a 18yr Military Vet. I hired APEX for post-hurricane Michael repairs. For the remediation phase, I rate the company 3 stars. They took longer than expected, resulting in extended equipment charges. Unfortunately, they didn't follow mold report procedures and did unauthorized work, leading to additional costs not covered by insurance. Regarding the Rebuild, my rating drops to 1 star. Their estimate was inaccurate and caused insurance payment delays. The estimator continuously added unnecessary items, causing disagreements. The project supervisor's lack of oversight led to worker disturbances and missed code enforcement visits, resulting in a failed inspection. Inaccuracies continued in the rebuilding process. Incorrect sheetrock was used on the ceiling, and installation issues arose. The drywallers even left screws behind and installed sheetrock right over them, causing further problems. They also mishandled the ceiling texture removal, causing extreme water damage to the ceiling. Material theft by the drywallers added to the complications. Due to ongoing problems and lost trust, I terminated the contract. Regrettably, APEX billed me for unsupported labor hours and unauthorized expenses, exceeding insurance coverage by $10k. It's worth noting that APEX refuses to address concerns about the completed work."

"Bathroom repair after multiple pipe lleaks and mold discovered. Certified mold mitigation and high quality work on all phases of th repair. Great value and good team to work with."

"We discovered black mold in a section of our house. On a recommendation we called Apex and found them knowledgeable, and very understanding to our concerns. The Mold remediation was thorough and the team that came was friendly and hardworking. When it came time to repair the damage, their team moved professionally to repair and even let us throw in some changes. There was always constant communications to let us keep up with timetables. I highly recommend Apex!"

"Like many others in 2018, Hurricane Michael severely damaged our house, and we were displaced for several months. Insurance’s estimate was only about $35K, not even close to enough to repair our home. We hired APEX, and Kris, Dos and team went to bat for us and got over $200K for our house mitigation and repair. "Bottom line up front: APEX is one of (if not the most) professional, high quality, and accommodating contracting companies I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Once I reached out to them for assistance after I was informed my home had caught fire from a lightning strike, they were on the scene within hours stabilizing the property and mitigating the water damage inherent when the fire department saves your home. No matter what time of day, their team was always responsive via call, text or email, and I never had questions unanswered for long. Their statement of work, quotes, and accounting processes were transparent, and I always new what the costs were down to a component level. I most appreciated their willingness to accommodate changes to the materials and design of the interior, to include using and installing components that purchased and supplied for the project as upgrades. All their processes and inspections were more than code required, and the quality of the finished product in all facets is noteworthy. The APEX team took a novel, stressful and tumultuous situation completely off my shoulders, and turned my home into something far better than what it was.
