Publix Pharmacy at Riviera Square

"This is not reflection on Publix grocery store. That department is amazing! . However the pharmacy makes you feel you are a complete inconvenience. Zero friendliness. Zero bed side manner., either Do better or find a job that you enjoy! It's not the customer's fault they rely on your expertise. The female pharmacist with the shoulder length hair with glasses is absolutely the rudest woman. I wish I knew her name. I brought my Dad in to get his Covid and flu shot this morning and she made my Dad feel so bad!! Life is hard enough for him being on hospice. Her lack of compassion was zero! There was an issue with billing on the shots but it was obviously a huge hassle for her to put out the effort to try and figure it out!! All I can say is, I hope when the day comes and she is sitting in a wheel chair on her last dying days, I hope she is made to feel the way she made my Dad feel this morning and she remembers the way she acted. Kindness is everything . Publix pharmacy needs to revaluate who they hire. Update on this review . 2/5/24 To the rudest pharmacist that was very insensitive to my father. I’d like you to know three days after your ugliness to him my father passed away."

"I’ve used them for 3 years and they used to be fast and friendly and now I’m not sure what has happened but the wait is crazy and some of the employees are friendly some are unreliable I was told 3 different times when my script would be done. I’ve waisted my entire afternoon . Not happy Update: Sweet pharmacist with short hair asked me who I was and checked on my script ! Definitely made me feel better. I thank her for her kindness"

"Be prepared to spend a long time in the pharmacy drive through line if you have to use it. It’s 11 am and I’ve been waiting for twenty minutes and there’s still four vehicles in front of me. I’m timing the average time is now eleven minutes per vehicle customer serviced. It’s ridiculous. I went to Walgreens previously and it was a three minute per vehicle customer service and it was one young lady working two car lines. Kudos to her for being fast and efficient. Publix however, I can’t say the same for, it needs to work on their customer care and services. I decided to give them a try out based on what a few people said and I’m not impressed. I’m timing them when it’s my turn. Hold on. It took 31 minutes to drop off a prescription and very slow was the cashier. She needs to be retrained or replaced."

"Jennifer, Connie, and the staff at Publix pharmacy are fantastic. The customer service is exceptional and they really make you feel appreciated as a customer, which is rare these days. They’re fast, even when swamped. I saw them provide the same customer service and one-on-one attention to others, which is indicative of a culture of caring. Connie noted that my insurance didn’t cover cough syrup. It was going to cost me $60 per cough syrup for two kids, or $120 total. She ran the cough syrups on a discount card for me and I paid $10 per cough syrup. Connie’s kindness, knowledge of how to help me save money, and customer-first approach saved me $100. True professionals!"

"If I could give them zero stars I would. I have frequented many Publix pharmacies in many states and towns and I have NEVER experienced anything as worse as this pharmacy. They hang up on you, place you on hold without telling you, argue with you, and flat out won’t do their job. They never filled a RX that was sent to them a week ago and then when I called they talked in circles and took no accountability. Finally, after 3 calls I was informed my RX wasn’t filled because he THINKS my insurance wanted me to use a generic brand and they did not have it and so it was not filled. I asked him to confirm and if so why hasn’t anyone called me. NOTHING."
