Sport Clips Haircuts of Jacksonville - St John's Town Center

"Usually I love this place, but visibly i had no choice but to tell my experience this time. I payed extra for a couple lines, $50 dollars of what ended up being a disaster that took 2 hours. The back of my head I only wanted 2 lines on each side, they had to bring in someone other than my haircutter to do it. I asked him for 2 lines, described, even drew pictures, and SHOWED pictures of MYSELF with the correct design on my phone of what it looked like when I had gotten it done before, and he still couldn't understand. Kept drawing with a white pencil on my head and messed up several times to the point where the back of my head ended up practically shaved to try and hide the times it was messed up, and even that was messed up as you can see patches at the middle of the back of the scalp all the way to the top. As far as any "designs", One side has 2 lines, another you can visibly see there's only 1, but not even any direction of any lines, it's just chopped up patches of hair and skin and no line with some swirls. I thought the only thing good I got out of it was to get a part in the front of my head. Visibly, it was dug really deep in my scalp and can see the skin breaking off. The line isn't a straight line either, it bulges out and squiggly, very thick and noticeable, and all are very uneven. I paid 50 and felt pressured to tip and apologize because it took so long, but only because he couldn't understand what I was asking for. I felt bad it took so long, but I literally only wanted 2 stripes in the back of my head and said so, like it has been done before and a clear photo of (was never charged extra for in the past) and a parting in the front. All of this took hours for some reason.. I have no idea how it could've gotten this bad and could only recognize how bad it was once I looked at the pics on my phone after the fact. I look like a disaster, hoping it will grow back evenly eventually. All I wanted to do was look more attractive for my wife which obviously this will only make things worse and did the exact opposite of that goal. Next time i will be getting a normal cut and i will do a better job on my own in my own mirror. The staff is very friendly, and is usually my place to go to. But this time, Sadly, a bad experience, and just wish I could get a refund cause having to feel bad for a bad job and expected to tip high is not the way I want to turn to a professional for something like these results."

"I arrived at 6:30 PM with a friend, and they told me they just could only do one haircut since they were about to close, I had surgery and couldn't come by myself for obvious reasons, I told her that I could tip a little more for the hair cut but she didn't change her opinion. I was in crunches and it was hard for me to get there, she is right, but we had 30 minutes more. I just don't feel good in a place that wouldn't cut a person who is injured. Everything for wanting to save 5 or 10 minutes"

Unfortunately we immediately left to go out of town for his regional football game and his hair was still wet so I didn’t notice but this is what we’re stuck with for the weekend. Never again."
