San Felasco Equestrian Trailhead and Biking Trails

"This is an amazing place for mountain biking. There are easy, medium, and difficult trails. There are at least eight trails and many of them intersect. So you can put together some nice combinations. We did the Meadow View (easy), to the Tung Nut (medium), to the Cellon Creek (easy). It's so lush and beautiful there. The woods and meadows have plenty of wildlife. The deer are accustomed to bikers and you can get surprisingly close for some good photo ops. There are also some really interesting birds too. Both the Meadow View and Cellon Creek trails were easy and mostly smooth rides. The Tung Nut Loop is more technical with many roots, turns, and jumps. Tung Nut had me using my full lung capacity. There is a good mix of downhill, uphill, and level riding. Mountain bike shocks come in handy on Tung Nut. Whereas, you could get away with shockless gravel bikes on the other two trails. Overall, it was a exhilarating experience and I'd love to go again soon!"
