"This is a beautiful, dog friendly preserve. Easy hiking on well marked trails. It's a very peaceful place. There are some amazing old cypress trees here."

"Absolutely beautiful Wild florida. Good Woodland paths. Two different parking lots very far away. If you walk through you can end up at the other parking lot and have a long walk back. Did not see any other people both days we visited."

"Really nice, easy hike, beautiful scenery and seemed pretty safe. Easy to navigate if you follow orange paint on trees. I'd say winter is probably the best time to go due to plethora of water, mosquitoes and snakes. Was couple inches from stepping on a "large" coral snake that was camouflaged in the fall leaves. You'll hike through many different cypress swamp areas, pine and oak forests. We enjoyed."

"At first it seems overgrown and maintained poorly, but go a couple of times and it grows on you (pun intended) lots of trails to discover. But, wear boots and a hat. Expect to walk into spider webs."

"I love this place and go quite often in the winter. It is very beautiful and shows you what Florida used to really look like. There are several long paths and dogs are allowed. Unfortunately, in the summer it gets overrun with ticks and bananna/orb spiders."
