Winn-Dixie

"We've been trying to get ahold of the manager Robert for 6 days! He will not take or return our calls! Something that was so simple to fix has now escalated into something so much more to the point where we will no longer be shopping there. We have been residents of DeBary for 19 years. We have been shopping there as a family for that long. We've never complained about anything for 19 years until now. I am just shocked with the customer service you receive from Winn-Dixie! We will now only shop at publix, aldi, and Walmart where the customer service is excellent!"

"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I go to this store every week and spend over $1,000 a month at this store and for some reason the Manager on Duty tonight Mike decided he wanted to harass me and follow me around the store like I was trying to steal something. I was moving stuff around in my cart and I had a box of Patron that was bagged from the Winn Dixie liquor store that was already purchased. Next thing you know I look over my shoulder while I’m talking to my fiancé on the phone and I hear this random lady talking to the manager saying “looks like he’s taking stuff in and out of the bag” referring to the Patron bag from the liquor store. I was literally moving things around in my cart to see what all I had as I was on a budget. I asked them if I could help them(Mike the Manager and a Random Lady) with something and they acted speechless, “Uh, no we are just talking.” Riiiiigggghhhtttt sure you are. Why not just be honest? I ended up walking away and continuing to shop for me, my fiancé, and my two little boys 2 and 4 years old as I have been working all day since 8 in the morning and its now about 6:30pm. I walked clear across the entire store back to the fruit section and sure enough before I could leave that area the Manager was standing there watching me where I then Confronted him again asking why is he following me. Of course, he said he wasn’t, but I’m clear across the store still shopping and seeing you near by the whole time as I’m shopping but the closest was by the fruit area where I had to say something. Now on my way to check out where now he’s no where to be found. I went to the self checkout and I told one of the staff who watches self checkout That I would like to have the Manager Mike to come out and watch me scan every item since he wants to follow me around the store harassing me like I’m stealing something. He finally came out and that’s what I asked him to do and that’s when he got hot and said he’s not going to do that. A few words were said and he threatened to kick me out of the store without me being able to buy my families groceries. The situation ended by him asking me “oh are you guilty or something”? Which I thought was very funny considering my receipt was $140 or so. Very UNPROFESSIONAL and is Unacceptable for someone who spends $1,000s of dollars a month at your store. Figure It Out DEBARY Winn-Dixie."

"I usually buy meats there because they are reasonably priced and pretty good quality. They have a great points program which allows you to get money off your groceries."

"Very clean open floor plan. Always has everything I need stocked up, especially the seafood dept where I shop often. Love shopping at this location wish all locations were like this one."
