"Visiting from out of town, searched online for a store open late and this was the closest. Arrived at 11:45 and walked through searching for items consistent with the American Diabetic Diet. I picked up a can of almonds and was attempting to compare the carb counts between two yogurts when the man at the door asked me to “please hurry.” I was taken aback because it wasn’t yet even 11:50 and I was struggling to compare the carb counts because the yogurt had no nutritional information listed on the package, there wasn’t even a barcode and it appeared to have been part of a multipack that hadn’t been designed to be sold individually. I immediately took my items to the register and checked out. It took longer to complete the checkout process than I had even spent perusing in the store. The doorman—who opened the door for me to leave but who had just stood alongside the outside of the door uncomfortably staring at me as I had approached the front doors earlier to initially enter the store—had made me feel unwelcomed and i felt it was clear he wanted me to hurry up and leave so I did. I will be in town for four more days and despite this being the closest market to where I’m staying I will go out of my way to spend my money somewhere they welcome me and my business for the rest of my vacation."
