Publix Super Market at Caladesi Shopping Center

"I usually shop at the Tri city Publix because it’s closer to my house , but I happened to stop at this certain Publix in the morning to pick up a few things . This Publix was probably one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever dealt with . The cashier was snappy when asked about a price difference . I was sent to customer service and she didn’t honor the price on the actual app . Which is fine, I ended up paying for it anyways … What really upset me was the fact that the cashier had other employees literally looking at me and talking about me over a question … also the same “manager or supervisor “ was speaking rudely and loudly about an employee that no longer worked there and was making the most nasty comments with the pharmacist / tech . I’ve worked in retail and I own my own company . I would never ever speak badly about a customer like this over a question , let alone when she’s 2ft away .This staff needs to definitely learn how to act with customers and on the floor . Maybe they should go to the Tri-city Plaza and see how they conduct themselves."

"The store is good, but the deli has major issues. One particular older male employee has been rude many times. I've purchased chicken with visible feathers several times. And tonight I called ahead to order chicken wings, flats only, which we have done for years, at their request so they don't have to break up their prepackaged boxes. and they will no will longer sell flats or dummies. We have to include both flats and drummies in our order. I called Caladesi publix and they were more than happy to make our order. Of flats only. I will go to their deli from now on."

"Yes. Publix is great. If you know you know. If not, read on!!! Overall good quality products, clean and plenty of employees for fast check out. Almost always have an extra person bagging who offers to help bring stuff to the car. Service is excellent. Like most places they make their own bread which you can have sliced to order (thick or thin). The deli makes sub sandwiches to order, it can take time but it’s worth it. This particular location has a lot of beach supplies like floats, chairs, umbrellas and even kites ( two line kites are my favorite). Enjoy"
