About the Business

Kellogg Bayside Park

Kellogg Bayside Park is a stunning waterfront park located at 1112 Nellie Drive, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. This park offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Choctawhatchee Bay and provides easy access for kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddle boards. Visitors can enjoy amenities such as a vessel ramp, picnic tables, shower, water fountain, and water spigot.

The park, which was generously deeded by the late Pat Kellogg in 2003, spans 10 acres and is dedicated to wildlife preservation and education. The development of the park is a collaborative effort between the Choctawahatchee Basin Alliance, Walton County Public Works, and Parks and Recreation.

Visitors can participate in nature-based activities such as sunrise Tai-Chi or yoga classes overlooking the bay, fishing skills classes, and stand up paddle board classes. Parking is available just outside the fenced area, as boat access is not offered at the ramp. Kellogg Bayside Park is the perfect destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore the beauty of the Choctawhatchee Bay.

"We read that this park was dog friendly but upon arrival, we saw numerous signage that indicated that dogs were not allowed. However, there were pet waste bags available in the lot across from the entrance. Based on the signage, we didn’t get out and left. Dog friendly or not?"

"Open sunrise to sunset. Beautiful spot. Obviously the cranks got their way and now don't allow dogs. Won't be back."

"Found this "out of the way" park to be beautiful for a peaceful place to spend time. There are large canopy trees as well as an open view of (and access to) the Choctawhatchee Bay. A great place for putting in a kayak or canoe as well as a "not too deep" place for a swim. It is well kept and not nearly enough visited and appreciated. A secret worth sharing."
