"I normally don’t write negative reviews but my experience here was so bad I feel compelled to. I had an appointment for a regular gel manicure and a dip polish removal. I had gotten my dip manicure done previously at another salon and the nail tech seemed to be confused on how to remove it properly. She repeatedly soaked my nails and scraped them with a cuticle pusher for about 20 minutes, all the while sighing, making faces, and getting other nail techs to come over and judge my nails with her. As time went on she seemed to take her frustration out on my nails, scraping and drilling until my nail beds were bright red. I was visibly uncomfortable throughout my whole appointment but she did not care. Once the appointment had finally concluded I was literally fighting back tears due to how painful the tech angrily scraped my nails. I am not kidding when I say my fingers were burning, red, and numb at the tips for the next 3 days after this horrible appointment. Please save yourself the pain and discomfort and do not book here. :)"

"Had an appointment they messed up who had chosen to do a design. Turns out none of them knew how to do a simple design. All the while they’re snickering and mocking my choice of design. I finally say “if you can’t do the design that’s fine don’t do it”. Then all of a sudden they start being nice. As soon as I go to wash my hands the tech, Nosleidy immediately goes and whispers something to the nail tech next to her. There was so much attitude and it made the service so uncomfortable! To add to it there was no professionalism. The nail tech working on my nails was talking about a previous client who smelt bad and mocking her. I will definitely be sticking to another tech who works there called emily."

"I have been coming to this salon for over 4 years back when it was in the gables and I only return to do my nails with Martha who is an angel. I will follow her wherever she goes. Unfortunately the salon quality has decreased in recent years. Today for example my pedicure service started 10 mins late and then since all the hand stations were full, I had to wait another 30 minutes in between my toes to even start my nails. There were about three other clients waiting too. This is unacceptable and a waste of clients time. I am always on time to my appointments because I value my nail tech’s time. The salon has to do a better job at not over booking services. The younger girls working the front desk are all very sweet but whenever the manager Gaby is there she has a standoffish demeanor. I will be coming back because I’m loyal to Martha but other than her there’s not much I love about this place. All that to say, if you come to this salon, come with plenty of time and patience. And book Martha, the real mvp."

"Starting off with the positives that I feel outweigh the negatives(!!) - The booking process is great and usually quick, I’ve spoken to all of the receptionists (some more warm than others) but they’re all professional and helpful when it comes to scheduling and answering questions. - I’ve only worked with 3 of their artists and all have been great. None of them were on their phones! And none have been rude or aggressive/abrasive. I’ve NEVER been cut. - LIZ is by far my favorite person there and she’s the best at making you feel comfortable. She’s honest with what she thinks will look good and helpful with ideas. There’s a small language barrier between her and I but she always makes me feel comfortable and never makes me feel dumb. (I’ve also seen this with other artists too I only know 2 of their names - Lahis and Claudia.) - If they can, they will start you while you’re waiting. If you’re doing a gel soak off they will begin the process while you wait so that there is no wasted time. The only negatives are: - Sometimes your appointments will start later than scheduled. I always show up early, but sometimes I will have to wait 10-15 minutes passed my appointment time to be seen. Only once did I wait any longer because of a rainy day that caused everyone to show up late and that backed up the rest of the appointments. The staff was apologetic and did work with everyone there to get us all serviced. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone. It’s comfy and great, vibes are always good and welcoming."

"We love Damary’s Nails , from the location to the staff. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The environment is beautiful and clean. Full of color choices and services. Pricing is decent as things have skyrocketed everywhere. The only issue I’ve frequently come across lately is my appointment times not being held and accurate. I’m either arriving and waiting without prior notice that either nail tech is running behind. Or I am kindly sent a text letting me know that either one is running behind (which I truly appreciate). But unfortunately this has become more common and it’s a bit frustrating because if a prior client is late to their appointment then the policy should be applied as stated in the provided texts. This causes for a lot of back up. Last appointment, I was not told I only had one appointment on the books which is not what I requested when I sent a text asking for two different techs and for different services as my mom was with me as per usual. I waited 30+ minutes before they placed me with another nail tech but was not informed I was not going to be having the tech I specifically asked for previously. I hate to leave complaints, but I love the nail salon and staff there and don’t want to depart because of such mishaps. Please make some adjustments as I don’t know if others are experiencing this as well and it may affect business. On the other hand, thanks for providing a safe and comfortable place to come and get self care done with plentiful options. My almond shaped apres are great and the pedicure as well!"
