"Although they did a good job with the color, they charged $35 to wash my hair after! What??!!! You mean, I can either leave with the color still in my hair or pay $35 to get it washed??? That is insane, especially since a root touch up was $150. A real rip-off!"

"Traumatizing. I cannot believe what happened to me here today. Enrique has been doing my hair for the past few years and does a good job. I’ve consistently paid $1,000 each time I go and normally I’m happy with his work. In September he decided to go lighter than normal and left a strong line between the top and bottom which is unacceptable when the tab is $1,000. You are packed like sardines in this salon and I was rushed out. I called to make a second appointment to correct it and was scolded because I didn’t mention I didn’t like it when I was still in the chair the first time. They told me it would cost $80 for a toner to fix the line, he also denied it was his fault and blamed the color being “old”. Toner was in for 1 hour and while my hair was being blown out I notice it’s completely dark and all the highlights I originally paid 1k for are now gone. He was watching me like a hawk apparently because when he saw I stopped the blow dry to take a look so I could speak up this time (like they asked me to), this man ran over to me and starting hysterically SCREAMING at me and grabbing my shoulders. Yelling “I had an attitude and I was making a face” and asking me what my problem was in front of the entire salon. Every colorist can make a mistake but you must be able to correct it and with pleasant customer service. By the way the bill to correct his error ended up being $295 not $80 like they quoted. Stay away from this place and Enrique, you are un puerco."

"I just had a great experience at this hair salon. The energy is so beautiful and people are so welcoming, friendly and professional at the same time. Sakina was so sweet and helped me even though I didn’t make an appointment beforehand. I would highly recommend it. Samuel and Lismary were lovely and provided me with the exact hairstyle I was looking for."

"I recently visited Armandeus for a much-needed hair service, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that the person attending to me was not the one specified in my booking reference. Despite my clear request for a thorough hair cut, the service felt rushed and incomplete, taking only 19 minutes. The cramped setting of the salon gave off a fast-food-like ambiance, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the experience. Furthermore, my request to clean up the edges of my hair seemed to have been overlooked, leaving me dissatisfied with the overall outcome. While the staff was polite, the lack of attention to detail and the hurried nature of the service left me feeling disappointed. For these reasons, I can only give Armandeus a two-star rating. I hope they can improve their attention to customer requests and overall service quality in the future."
