"I have encountered a couple incorrect water tests for the pool and Jacuzzi. I ended up finally using the chemicals from last year so no big deal. Not only was their tests off but some of mine were as well so... always re-check your water before you add large amounts of anything to control iron, ph and calcium. Our Jacuzzi was so slippery from the calcium we had to drain half of it. Well water and water softeners make it a bit tricky sometimes. Thanks"

"Warning: Stay away from the pool servicing. I recently signed up for the weekly pool service at this Pinch A Penny. During the first servicing, the service technician opened the air valve to the pump and let the pool pump run dry for 32 hours while I was away from home. Even the owner’s son came out to service the pump and could not identify the issue. I called and asked for the owners to call me back regarding the issue and did not hear back. I had to call up to the store again to get the owners on the phone to talk to me and the wife told me, “Running the pump dry doesn’t damage the pump.” “Well pump is still working, isn’t it?” “I don’t know what you want me to do about it.”"
