"We had several problems with a Hayward pool crawler, still under warranty. Regardless, this place made us pay for parts that “weren’t under the warranty “. The crawler never worked correctly, got stuck in a corner and stayed there. Finally went in to complain and ask for a refund on the product after so many trips to this store and mis information was told to call Hayward. I admit the several trips to pinch a penny with this product upset me but GONZALIS, the owner made it personal when I asked him his name and he asked me if I knew how to read!! Apparently his name was on his shirt. Instead of de-escalating the situation he turned it personal. He also handed the crawler back to me without putting all the parts back together. I would go miles out of my way to avoid this store and GONZALIS. He is rude and in it for the money, Good reviews are wonderful until you have a problem, then let me know how helpful this idiot is. We go to a real pool store, not this franchise dollar store knock off."
"Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Great free water testing and expert advice about anything out of balance. This store is much friendlier and helpful than the Weston store. Prices are competitive on supplies we use all the time, like salt, chlorine, and acid, as well as larger equipment, but specialty chemicals and impulse buys are more expensive than Amazon. Still max stars, tho!"
"Avoid this store! I took my chlorine jugs to refill (which I most likely originally gotten from this store) and it was leaking and they refilled the same broken jug (!) arguing that the jug had a sticker from ANOTHER PINCH A PENNY, which I had never been at. Worst customer service! Oh! And the Hayward filters are 60 dlls more expensive than online!!"
"Excellent staff and management! Rarely do I find a corporate buisness run with knowledge and customer service of a family run business, but this location/branch is an exception. I would highly recommend becoming a regular customer here! Gonzalo and the rest of the team are excellent at what they do!"
"I've been a customer to this location for about 13 years now and the service is always excellent. The owner Gonzalo and the manager Joe are always onsite for questions and answer. Pinch a penny they do free water tests and if you have any issues with your home pool they are more than happy to help you."
