"I had to call Jason on a Saturday. My grandkids were down from NJ and constantly in the pool. At one point i realized i had lost prime and tracked it to the skimmer box. I feared a toy was in the line. Tried everything to no avail. Jason got on the phone and asked a few questions then said did you check the weir door on the skimmer.
