"STAY AWAY - Dishonest Long story short we had scheduled for them to come out for a repair - we didn’t hear anything so we called and asked if they came out - they said YES and then immediately sent a $1400 quote. We looked into it further and checked the cams on the house and no one was out. We called back two more times and they still insisted they came out. They never came out and kept saying the did multiple times and even sent over a random quote. Completely dishonest and will not be back to use them for anything. "I have been with them for over a year I believe. The service has been great at the beginning but the last three months is has been horrible. The pool is always turning green and looks bad. I believe it’s the new employees they have now. The owner has tried to help me but the service is still the same. TODAY MY BOYFRIEND CAUGHT THE POOL GUY PEEING IN MY YARD!!!!!! This is disgusting. I wonder how many times he has done this before. I definitely do not recommend them anymore. I will be calling tomorrow to cancel my service with them."

"I purchased a home in January of 2021 that had a swamp for a inground pool. Literally the previous owner did nothing with it for years. I tried a small local pool service at first to no avail. The crew came out and helped me with figuring out steps to get the pool correct. They drained my pool, checked the integrity of it and gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision. They were patient and highly knowledgeable. And let me tell you I am a pain in the buttocks...I question everything, I so appreciate this crew of people. My pool was resurfaced and tiled through Patriot Pools and I purchased all brand new equipment through pinch a penny. This work was performed in March of 2021. I cannot thank them enough and would not go anywhere else for my pool needs. The customer service is, was and has been absolutely outstanding. Thank you gentlemen for not only your services to this great country but, your patience with me.! You are truly the company to which All others should be judged."

"The professionalism and quality that Chad and Casey displayed was unparalleled by other companies I have previously used. They did an amazing job of pressure washing, re-sanding, and sealing my drive-way's pavers; using high-quality products that look like it will last for years to come. Recently, I witnessed several of our neighbors have their driveways re-sealed. Some of the issues I kept seeing were that several of those driveways would have the new sand wash out from in between the pavers and there were noticeable discolorations on large sections of their driveways. Additionally, after some heavy rains, there would be sand pooling at the end of those driveways, which made me feel like these companies did something wrong. Since I did not want to spend the time to learn how to do this myself, nor did I have the two days and the equipment it would take to do it correctly. I was excited to hear this Pinch-a-Penny offered these services, as I know the owners have a reputation for maintaining a professional standard with everything they do. So I hired them to pressure wash, re-sand, and seal my driveway and front patio, which was around 1,100 SqFt. I opted to go with the high-quality polymeric sand, and a sealant with the added color enhancement treatment; believing it would look nicer when finished. As expected, the polymeric sand and color enhancement were worth every penny and it made our driveway look amazing. Because we often forget to leave reviews for companies who provide excellent service and tend to only focus on the bad interactions with companies. We felt obligated to leave a review for this company as several of our neighbors have since asked us who we used for our pavers and complemented on them. I attached some photos and could not be more pleased with the finished project."
