"UPDATE JUNE 2023: This place has DEFINITELY improved since my initial review 2 years ago. They updated the broken and run down areas of the store. They expanded the isle sizes so they weren't so cramped and made it easier to shop down. Definitely impressed. Original 2 years ago review: This Save A Lot definitely needs some repairs. It's a nice store, employees seem nice, prices aren't too bad. But the store definitely has a run down kind of feeling. The isles feel a bit cramped too, they probably can't really do much about that as it does seem like they are using all of the space inside best they can, but I definitely had trouble a few times trying to pass people"

"Ever since they did a remodel the prices have gone through the roof. They used to be a price friendly way to stock up on grocery items... Not anymore. I needed a few things and didn't want to go to the W-Mart because it was a Saturday afternoon so I ran to Save A Lot instead. $1.20 more for a gallon of Milk. $3.00 more for beer. $1.10 more for a can of crushed pineapple. $1.00 more for sliced cheese. $1.50 a lb more for chicken breast. Those are only a few examples. Spend A Lot is more accurate. It's a shame because I loved this little store. I would expect it from a place like Whole Foods, not a place that is actually named Save A Lot."
