"I Was Honored, by the way, that Ava treats all of her clients. I was greeted by her and a couple of the other ladies that are stylist, there all were very nice. Ava was more than professional she was kind. She was compassionate about how and my needs for special attention to my hairshe was very patient and always very wonderful"

"I came in around 5pm today to get some help taking down cornrows (there’s not an option on the screen for this service), wash, trim, and blow dry. I walked up to the desk, told the stylist, Suzy and she asked me to sign-in. I did while she finished a phone conversation with a customer. There was another stylist whose name I didn’t catch, but Suzy went to tell her what I wanted and she came around the corner, and asked somewhat annoyed, “you got braids”. I said yes, but I just need help taking them down if I had a comb. She walked back to Suzy behind the wall and was like nah you can do it, which made me very uncomfortable. Then she came around the other side with the comb and I’m like it’s okay I already started taking them down and she was like yeah bc if she takes them down it’ll be a fee. I just remained quiet because again, I was willing to pay what was needed to get help, but neither stylist made me feel comfortable. They then began to casually sit around discussing personal details about their homes & trying to troubleshoot a password for a personal matter on their personal cells. Suzy then got up when the other stylist walked away and asked me “wait you want your blow dried too?” At this point, I said it’s okay I’m not going to get anything done. It seems like you all don’t want to help or work or I’m not sure, but I’m not going to get anything done. This was a terrible experience and I felt very much guilty for even trying to come in and ask for help or get my hair done. Like I was confused as to what I signed in for a service for and expressed my needs only to be met with the feeling that I was asking for so much and they are supposed to be hair stylist. They need customer service training and support and I will be following up with the manager, Ava, to understand why I experienced this."
