"I went up to this place a day ago to get my hair cut, and because this was my first time at this great clips, I was pretty nervous on getting my hair cut by a new stylist. Well, I should’ve listened to my gut when I got seated. When I got sat down, I told the stylist that I was a trans man and I was looking for a specific hair cut, I know that through my past experiences with hair, stylists are always prone to giving me a pixie cut or a feminine hair style that i didn’t ask for. I made sure to tell the stylist that I wanted a masculine hair cut. I showed her the reference photos that I wanted and she said that she could do it. Okay, that’s great! She said that we would go step by step to ensure that I was satisfied with my hair cut. We did not. She starts trimming my hair, and she hardly ever showed me the back, and when she said, I could hardly even see my hair in the mirror. When she asks me what i thought of it, I noticed that the back looked uneven on the left side and I asked her if she could clean it up. She does that but she doesn’t really show me what my hair looks like dried and finished. I regret giving her a tip and paying in full amount, because when i took a picture of the back of my head, I was horrified of the results, I wanted an undercut just like the reference I showed to her and she completely chopped almost all of my hair in the back. I’m not sure if I can get some compensation at this point, since I’m not necessarily a confrontational person. But I am completely dissatisfied with the service I received and I think I would be better off going to a barber."
"Been going to the lithia location for a few months. Learned these are individually owned and prices differ between stores. Call first to confirm before you go. Otherwise, good prices for shampoo and cuts."
"I called the day before my visit and asked how much a shampoo would cost. I was told $8 plus a little more for a blow dry. I had a shampoo and blow dry and I was charged $93. I could have had a cut and blow dry at the salon i frequent. Will not be back"
