"I came in for a color correction after using box color. I was told during the consultation that the stylist could turn my red/orange hair into ash brown. I said multiple times that I didn’t want any orange in my hair. The stylist found a picture of exactly what I wanted and said she could do it. After 4 hours, $265, 2 failed attempts to get rid of the orange, help from the owner and the manager (who was talking about my natural hair color despite never seeing it) I now have a solid line of dark roots with red/orange hair that doesn’t match - the stylist used a different color on my roots than on the rest of my hair. They offered to try to fix it for the 3rd time because the color I want IS possible. I said I’d think about it but ultimately decided to cut my losses and not go back. I paid in full in case I did go back but I should have asked for a discount because my hair looks nothing like the color in the stylist’s picture."

"Today was my first trip to J.Joseph Salon. I went in for a simple wash and cut, but had a wonderful experience! My appointment was scheduled last minute and they were very accommodating. Upon arrival, I was offered a beverage, then whisked away quickly to begin. Hazzelei handled my cut with expertise and precision. I was relaxed the entire time and received the cut I really wanted! I am so happy with my service, and can’t wait to go back again! 5/5 great service!!"
