"This has one star because of ONE bad nail tech. This salon is great but, I had a bad experience with one of the male nail techs. He did my cuticles AFTER applying acrylic and got upset when I asked him to get closer to my cuticle area because my nails looked grown out already. You are supposed to cut cuticles before applying acrylic and not after so its as close as possible to the skin, but not on it. Not to mention I asked him to make my nails shorter and he refused to do so. He said they do not look good shorter and to keep them long which makes me think he just didn’t feel like filing them down. He also told me to not tell anyone he got closer to my cuticle like I asked because it could “cut” me and its not supposed to be like that. I wasn’t happy with the results because I had absolutely no apex in my nail and they were not even. A week later I break my nail in half because I had no apex for support. (it isn’t just for the look but for the safety of your natural nails underneath as well) Now almost half of my natural nail is broken along with misshaped nails. I am not sure if this nail tech is licensed but he is not experienced in acrylics. I will not be getting my nails done by anyone here except heather. If you want your nails to have a good shape, strength, as well as overall pretty nails go to heather."
